2. Decide How Their Possible New Home Will Look

   When moving your parents to your new home, you should always use the furniture they want to keep and put it where they want to. This is important to make them feel like they are at home so they can be more familiar with their new home.

3. Give Your Parents the Support they Need

   When moving your parents to their new home you should have family members make the move easier and be emotionally supportive when helping them move whether it is caring for them or playing some games they like or even participating in their hobbies. And if your parents are moving into an assisted living home, show your parents much love so they don't feel alone and sad.

4. Help Downsizing

   After living for so long, your parents have probably collected many things which will probably have no use and you should help them downsize. And to make this easier you should start early. When downsizing, you should find charity's which can pick up items from your house and if they don't want to get rid of certain items you can move them to either a storage container which can be visited whenever.
